Here comes the A.L.I.E.N TAPE THREE a splendid concept album that opens the cycle of 'the Sonic Chronicles of Gomshaar' ! The whole story begins with the coming back of an ancient threat that is about to turn humen into slaves. On that basic lines synopsis, has been developped the concept of a futurist society governed by the Galactic Guild. The outstanding piece of Sonic Grandeur is revealed with the accumulations of details all along the creation of the first release : ‘THE WEEPING MACHINE’. All the musical elements are mixed in a very subtle way that enhances the drama. Sound Design, Drones, electronic and traditional instruments lead the audience into a specific state of mind. Martial drumming and the addition of vocals floating around the tensions were probably the sonic mark of the project. Airy parts and rumbling sound textures also participate of the uniqueness of this masterpiece. The CD also benefits from the alternance of grandiloquence climax and calm atmospheres like a living sea of dreams opening and shutting the mystic doors of extra dimensions. Doubts and thoughts, power and weakness, chaos and order everything is envisaged along the tracks, to display a complex patchwork that speaks to every minds.
